Ahhhh. Probably what you came to this article in search for. Trying to curate the perfect artisanal sourdough loaf. Besides the health benefits of sourdough, this is one of the things that I was most eager with when searching for sourdough recipes.
1. Easiest Sourdough Loaf

This recipe is tried and true and comes from Jill Winger at The Prairie Homestead. This was the recipe that I used to first practice using my sourdough starter. I enjoy making this recipe because it is a no-knead bread recipe with only four ingredients: sourdough starter, flour, water, and salt! Every time I make this sourdough bread loaf, I have great success!
2. The Artistic Sourdough Loaf

Are you pining after those beautifully curated sourdough loaves with the wheat designs scorned into them? My favorite recipe, from the blog Farmhouse on Boone, explains just how to bake the perfect sourdough bread loaf. My all time favorite sourdough recipes involve using sourdough discard. What is discard you ask? Sourdough discard is the extra sourdough starter in your jar that is unfed, inactive. This starter has to be discarded before feeding your sourdough starter to make it active again. There are many recipes that you can create using sourdough discard. I love using sourdough discard because I do not have to wait for my batter to ferment. These are quick, easy-and-go recipes that everyone will love!
